WALKING CHALLENGE
Walk each day this week and beyond. Try to walk 20-30 minutes per day. Start small if you need and even consider splitting your time into two shorter walks.
If you can, also add some hills, walk faster, or even add some short jogs. Keep building your strength and stamina!
Need more reasons than a challenge to walk…Did you know you can WALK YOURSELF out of a bad mood? Studies show that even a 10-minute walk immediately boosts brain chemistry to increase happiness.
You can improve overall mental health and wellness by letting your mind wander freely, which is easy to do when you walk.
Walk with a friend and reduce feelings of isolation.
